Digital Torque Testers (5 videos)

The CAPTEST is a tough and affordable manual digital cap torque tester, measuring clockwise and anticlockwise torques up to 5 N.m. Its IP54 splash proof stainless steel housing makes it ideal for clean rooms and pharmaceutical environments. It can be combined with a printer or statistical mini-processor for regular, repetitive testing of screw-top closures.

The Orbis digital torque tester is an easy-to-use, portable instrument for measuring clockwise and counter-clockwise torque up to 6 N.m. Suitable for both laboratory and production environments, the Orbis is ideal for torque tests across a wide variety of applications e.g. bottle caps, automotive rotary components, medical devices and cosmetics containers.

The Tornado digital torque tester measures clockwise and anticlockwise torque up to 10 N.m. Portable and battery powered, the Tornado can measure "slip torque" and "bridge torque" on tamper-evident closures. Interpreting results is extremely easy as there are audible and visible indications of the settable "Pass" and "Fail" limits. Up to 500 results can be held in the on-board memory which can be down-loaded to a printer, computer or a Statistical Process Control system

Mecmesin's digital torque testers are used to measure the mimimum application torque of Child-resistant closures according to ASTM D3810.  The Tornado is a portable, battery powered hand operated instrument can be used anywhere, while the motorised Vortex-xt torque tester provides a constant test speed for reliable repeatability of testing.

Mecmesin's digital torque testers are used to measure the reverse-ratchet torque performance of child-resistant closures according to ASTM D3472.  The Tornado is a portable, battery powered hand operated instrument, while the motorised Vortex-xt provides a constant test speed for reliable repeatability of testing.
